Why we use it

We use personal information only where reasonably necessary to:

• respond to an enquiry or prepare for a quotation conversation;
• route a request to Mela Interiors or Mela Facilities Management;
• communicate about the requested service or a related business matter;
• operate, secure and improve the website and prevent misuse; and
• meet applicable legal, regulatory, accounting or contractual obligations.

We do not use website-form information for unrelated direct marketing without an appropriate legal basis or permission where permission is required.

Who may receive it

Information may be accessed by authorised CHORECHAIN GROUP personnel and the relevant operating division. We also use service providers that support website hosting, security and email delivery, including Resend for form-email delivery. They receive only the information reasonably needed to provide their service.

We may disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where required or permitted by law. Some technology providers may process information outside South Africa; where this occurs, we aim to use providers and safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.

How long we keep it

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, quotation, client relationship, security purpose or applicable legal and record-keeping requirement. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted, de-identified or securely archived where retention is legally required.
